BNI Miami Dade Hosted over 900 members, celebrated their outstanding achievements and still got everyone to work on time!

#1 FRANCHISE OF BNI “IN THE WORLD” FOR 2009 – 2010 

At the 9th Annual Member Chapter Recognition Awards

MCRA took place on Friday, December 10, 2010 at the Doubletree Hotel & Miami Airport Convention Center with over 900 BNI Miami-Dade Members in attendance. Net-WORK-ing began in the Table Top Expo as early as 6am with over 35 Sponsoring members showcasing their business.

Charity

Dr. Oren Wonderman of the Family Resource Center sent the following letter of appreciation to BNI Miami Dade;

Dear Jeff, Dena and Jessica,

CONGRATULATIONS for putting on a spectacular event this morning! I have never seen so much positive energy in so many highly motivated people….. and so early in the morning!

Thank you for selecting Family Resource Center to be the agency that was the recipient of the overwhelming generosity of the BNI members. The quality, quantity and creativity of the gifts selected shows that the members put a lot of thought and caring into the selection of the items.

Again, I wish to express my sincere gratitude for all that you have done for the Family Resource Center, and the children and families that are in our care.

As with all regional events in BNI Miami Dade, a charitable element was included. Family Resource Center of South Florida was incredibly honored to be the charity partner for BNI Miami-Dade’s 9th Annual Member & Chapter Recognition Awards. The breakfast incorporated a toy drive that brought in over 500 incredible toys for kids ages 0-17 including bicycles, educational laptops and developmental toys for babies. Dorit Matthews, the non-profit’s Director of Development and a member of BNI Coral Gables estimated the value of the donation at close to $10,000. "Miami’s kids in the foster care system will have a wonderful holiday season thanks to the generosity of the 28 Miami-Dade BNI chapters. Family Resource Center sends its sincere thanks to each and every member who participated." said Ms. Mathews.
