Visitor's Day
BNI Biscayne Connection chapter hosted its' first BNI Visitor's Day with tremendous success. There were 108 people present for this meeting with about 71 legitimate visitors, making this the most successful Visitor's Day event in BNI Miami-Dade.

BNI Business Leaders Kick-Off
BNI Miami-Dade held it's first chapter launch for 2006 on January 24th at the Hyatt in Coral Gables. BNI Business Leaders launched with 16 members and there were over 80 people in attendance.

Core Group Training
Members of the soon to be newest BNI Miami-Dade chapter, BNI Business Leaders, held their core group training at the Hyatt in Coral Gables. The Executive Director, Jeff Stay was the team leader in training and was assisted by the Assistant Director's Jeff Davidson, Mike Hopkins and Allan Koolmeyer.

2005 Int'l Directors Conference Long Beach , CA
The 2005 BNI International Directors Conference hosted by Ivan R. Misner, Ph.D. was an event for the World of BNI to remember. From the likes of Barbados, Singapore, Sweden, Japan, Dubai and Zimbabwe you could find as many as 26 countries involved. What a presence, what an event and what an event to remember. Finding yourself among the World in one place was overwhelmingly a net workers dream.

2005 U.S. National Director's Conference Seattle
In June 2005, Jeff Stay (ED Miami-Dade) and Michael Abella (AD Miami-Dade)
attended the 2005 U.S. National Directors' Conference in beautiful Seattle,
Washington. The weather was gorgeous, and the people were even more
welcoming than we had been told. The home town of STARBUCK'S proved worthy
of the title "coffee mecca" as both Seattle's Best and Starbuck's battle for
prime street corner retail space.
This conference is attended mainly by BNI Directors from the United States,
and while smaller than the Int'l Conference held each June, the break-out
sessions, networking, Dance Cards, and collaboration were all valuable. The
purpose of these conferences is to share the best and brightest ideas
between Directors, for franchise growth, development and improvement.
BNI is "Givers Gain" in action, and there is no better place to see it, act
it, be it, and do it than at a BNI Directors Conference.

Spring 2005 Leadership Team Training
The 2005 Spring Leadership Team training was held at the Coral Gables Country Club over a three day period, Tuesday March 29th to Thursday, March 31st. Members, representing sixteen BNI Miami-Dade chapters, received instructions on their role responsibilities and GOAL overview for the BNI Miami-Dade region. Assistant Directors, Stephen Foster and Thomas Griffith were recognized by the Executive Director, Jeff Stay, for their years of service to the BNI Miami-Dade region.
