He is a top producing member of EWM’s Chairman’s Club Diamond Level with sales that place him in the top 1/2 of 1% among Realtors nationwide. In addition, Drew is a "founding member" of the Coral Gables chapter of BNI from 1998. As an Ambassador, he serves in the roles of Chapter Support, Leadership Team Trainer and is the Chair of our Franchise Advisory Board. Living in Palmetto Bay with his wife and two sons, Drew is active in the community through Board and Trustee Membership in the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce and is on the Board of Directors for Big City Mountaineers, a non-profit organization.

Mr. Stay is the President and Executive Director for BNI in Miami-Dade County. Mr. Stay is responsible for all franchise operations, including: Assistant Directors, Ambassadors, Franchise Advisory Board Members, and Leadership Team Officers. Jeff is the founding member of BNI in Miami-Dade County, starting the franchise in Coral Gables in 1998.

Adam joined TEAM BNI MIAMI-DADE as an Assistant Director after traveling to Long Beach, CA and investing in the 2006 Int'l BNI Conference. In May of 2007, Adam was promoted to Managing Area Director for BNI Miami-Dade. Adam was a 3 year member of BNI in the Aventura Chapter, during which time he served in numerous roles, where as President, he led his team to be awarded the BNI Founder's Award in 2005. Adam is reponsible for providing management and leadership to the members as well as coordinating the training & development for the franchise, including Leadership Team Training, Member Success Program training, and Director/Ambassador training. Adam is a graduate of the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce “Leadership Miami” program Class of 2009, and a Facilitator in the GMCC “Young Leadership” program. He is happily married, has two sons, and believes in Leadership through service.

Launa Carbonell is a "founding member" of BNI South Beach from 2002. She owns The Coffee Scene, a local and intimate coffee shop in the growing city of Pembroke Pines. Launa has served in all Leadership Team roles, and also coordinates large events for the region as Regional Event Coordinator. In 2007, Launa led the Event Committee for Member & Chapter Recognition, which hosted Grammy-Award winner Freddie Ravel and over 500 attendees at Jungle Island. Launa will be assuming a training & development role for the region with MSP 2.0 Member Success Training.

Brian Barakat is the Managing Partner of Barakat, Jacobs & Associates, P.L. a boutique trial law firm in Miami. The firm focuses it's attention on the representation of consumers, particularly those who have been injured by the turbulent real estate market. Brian began his career at the Miami-Dade County State Attorney's Office where he tried primarily White Collar and Computer Crimes. Brian has been a member of BNI Business Leaders for three years and has served his group as President, Vice-president, Category Conflicts and Educational Coordinator. Before joining the successful personal injury law practice, Judson L. Cohen practiced tax and commercial litigation with a Miami law firm. Since 1993 Judson Cohen has concentrated his legal practice by handling personal injury claims, including wrongful death and medical malpractice claims. His primary focus is finding doctors, attorneys and long term care insurance professionals who have private clients needing home care. He has worked with the elderly as an advocate and professional in assisted living, home care, home health services and nursing home fields for 7 years. He served as President of BNI Miami Biscayne Connections chapter 2007 - 2008 growing the chapter from 19 members to 42 in one year. His chapter was recognized as a Founders Award winner. Peter has a Masters degree in Higher Education Administration from Florida State University and a BA in Psychology - Counseling from UNC - Wilmington . Traci Miller Martineau lives in Fort Lauderdale and has been working for Miller Construction Company for 15 years. She is the Business Development Associate, responsible for developing relationships and ambassadors for the firm. Traci is the Chair of the Board for Leadership Broward Foundation; a founding board member of Women’s Way of United Way of Broward; and has chaired and produced many fundraising events over the years for her favorite charities. Dr. Todd Narson began his BNI membership in 1999, with our second chapter BNI Brickell. This chapter later relocated to the Coral Gables area, and renamed to BNI University. Dr. Todd is a "founding member" of BNI Miami Beach, and its' current President. With 60+ members, this is the largest chapter of BNI in Miami-Dade County, and one of the largest chapters in the World. A two-time Founder's Award winnning chapter, Todd brings his experiences to our membership during Leadership Team Training as our Vice President Trainer.

Born in northern New Jersey, Linda Pescatore has lived in Miami-Dade county since 1990, currently making her home in Cutler Bay. Her career in mortgage lending is backed by many years in business management. Linda studied for her PhD in Business Administration at the University of Miami and earned her MBA from East Carolina University. Linda has been a mortgage advisor for Gold Coast Lending since 2002, and prior to that was an instructor in the School of Business at the University of Miami. She has been a member of BNI since 2003 and is currently VP of the 2008 Founders Award winning Homestead Chapter.

She is a human resource consultant with HR Matters, specializing in the selection, development and retention of top talent. Betty was a finalist in South Florida Business Journal’s Excellence in Human Resources in 2008 and is especially proud of this achievement since she was nominated by a client. She serves as her chapter’s Visitor Host captain, guiding a team of 10, and has worked closely with Jeff Stay and Adam Max offering her HR expertise in the selection of BNI ambassadors and other HR related issues. “when it comes to HR, we raise the bar!”
